Christa collaborated with Dr. Anne Porterfield from Wilson College of Textiles at NC State on a design and dance research project. Dr. Porterfield presented a poster on their behalf at the International Textile and Apparel Association 2024 Annual Conference.

Christa directed the Panoramic Dance Project’s spring 2024 concert. The performances featured works by Lula Washington, Ana Baer, and NC State dance faculty. Baba Khalid Saleem, Atiba Rorie, and Brandon “No Cents” McCrimmon performed as guests in the show.

THE UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO
Christa choreographed a piece for Zodiaque Dance Company’s spring concert. Zodiaque is a pre-professional dance company at the University at Buffalo comprised of dance majors.

Join Panoramic Dance Project director Christa Oliver, and State Dance Company director Tara Mullins, for a fun master class that will introduce you to the styles of both academic dance companies. The last fifteen minutes will be saved to discuss the upcoming auditions on August 28 and August 29, as well as a student Q&A.

Christa Oliver participated in Texas State University’s musical theatre pre-college intensive. She taught hip-hop and musical theatre jazz dance classes.
